Bealtaine is an old pagan faery festival celebrated by many in the North on the mid point between the equinox and solstice… celebrated this year on May 5th.
Bealtaine is celebrated with wild dancing, drumming & singing, feasting merrily within the community… it is party time for the cunning folk.
People would celebrate by jumping over a bonfire for purification and then spend the evening making love in the forests or fields.
It is a sacred time of pure joy and playfulness, new beginnings and to always feel the magick beneath your feet!
