Transpersonal Dreamwork & Symbolic Astrology

You may be familiar with the integral work of visionaries such as Abraham Maslow, Stanislav Grof, Ken Wilber, Peter Levine and Jean Houston; transpersonal thinkers who have expanded our understanding of consciousness and the deeper dimensions of human experience.

My own work is situated within this interdisciplinary field, bringing together transpersonal psychology, dream practices, astrology, mythology, and the folk witch arts. In 2011, I completed a three-year Diploma in Astrology under the guidance of professional astrologer Babula Clement. I subsequently completed an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling in 2016, developing theoretical knowledge and practical competencies across areas including:

I am currently completing a Bachelor of Arts at La Trobe University, majoring in Cultural Anthropology and Sociology (2024–2027), further developing my academic engagement with the cultural, social, psychological, and symbolic dimensions of human experience.

Transpersonal psychology is a humanistic approach that considers the whole person, including embodied experience, identity, consciousness, meaning, and the psychological and spiritual dimensions of human existence. It also provides valuable ways of engaging with the symbolic and imaginal dimensions of experience, including transpersonal dream practices. Dreams can be approached as meaningful experiences in their own right: landscapes of image, symbol, emotion, memory, archetype, and personal mythology. Transpersonal dreamwork invites us to remain curious about our relationship with the dream and what it may reveal about our inner and lived experience.

My understanding of dream practices has also been informed through learning and experience under the guidance of Indigenous elders. I approach this learning with respect for cultural context, sovereignty, and the distinct traditions from which such knowledge emerges. This means recognising that Indigenous traditions are culturally specific, living, and diverse, rather than treating them as a single universal system. These experiences have complemented my ongoing private practice, in which astrology, symbolism, dreams, and transpersonal perspectives provide pathways for deeper reflection, meaning-making, and self-understanding.

Over the years, cunning folk practitioners and complementary therapists have asked me to develop a more comprehensive approach to understanding their astrological charts and life directions through the lens of transpersonal psychology. From this interest, my offerings have emerged as an interdisciplinary framework bringing together astro-mythos, transpersonal psychology, dream practices, and the folk witch arts.

This perspective creates space for mythology and cosmology, human potential, archetypal consciousness, dreams, and the collective unconscious, while remaining grounded in an embodied and participatory approach to self-exploration. Within this framework, dreams, astrology, and mythology become complementary symbolic languages, each offering different pathways into the deeper layers of human experience. Through this transpersonal synthesis, I bring together these diverse fields of study and practice to create a space for deeper reflection, meaning-making, and connection with your own symbolic landscape.

Exploration of the astrological birth chart, dreams, symbolism, and transpersonal perspectives, trace the deeper alchemy of lived experience while exploring phenomenology, archetypal patterns, and new perspectives that support greater self-acceptance, life meaning, and self-connection.
