Time to Sweep It All Away with the Waning Moon!

This week I was gifted an amazing besom or witches' broom by a dear Scorpio friend who will be offering besom making workshops here on Mt Tamborine... perfect for tending the hearth!

A witch’s besom is a powerful symbol of cleansing, protection and transformation, traditionally used to sweep away stagnant or unwanted energies and prepare a space for positive intentions and sacred work. It represents the clearing of negativity, the protection of the home and the welcoming of new beginnings, abundance and harmony.

Time to sweep it all away with the waning crescent moon!

Traditionally crafted from natural woods and herbs, each material brings its own magical associations, with birch (renewal), hazel (wisdom), rosemary (purification) and lavender for those (harmonious peaceful) vibes.

The besom is a witch's tool of intention, reminding us to release what no longer serves us and to make room for new blessings with the new lunar cycle.

Much love from the wild woods,
